IDF recently revealed that there are five divisions equivalent to tens of thousands of soldiers in Gaza. In the latest announcement, it was stated that Golani, Paratrooper, Givati, Commando, Kfir, Nahal, 7th, 188th, and 401st brigades of IDF along with a small number of reserve soldiers are present in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli officials threaten to intensify their genocidal attacks in the region unless a hostage agreement is reached with Hamas. This policy of Israel has drawn the reaction of the Israeli citizens held captive in Gaza. The far-right ministers in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet argue against negotiating with Hamas, advocating for the complete destruction of Gaza to rescue the hostages.
A 4-YEAR-OLD CHILD DIES OF STARVATION
In March, Israel broke the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and resumed its attacks. Since then, Israel has been imposing a humanitarian aid blockade on the Gaza Strip. This blockade was relaxed for the first time this week since March. However, humanitarian aid organizations say that the trucks allowed to enter the region are very inadequate for the needed humanitarian aid.
During the at least 2-month blockade imposed by Israel, many infants also died of starvation. Yesterday evening, a 4-year-old Palestinian child died from malnutrition. The World Food Program (WFP) affiliated with the United Nations stated that more than 70,000 children in Gaza are at risk of malnutrition.
AT LEAST 17,000 CHILDREN HAVE BEEN KILLED
Furthermore, according to data that does not include Palestinians found under the rubble and whose lifeless bodies have not yet been reached by the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Israel has killed 53,901 people in Gaza since October 7, 2023. It was also revealed that at least 17,000 of them are children.
